The Verbal Sanctuary: Branding the Patient Experience
Problem: Oncology patients are overwhelmed by fear and administrative complexity, making a tough situation even more so. A standard corporate-minded support center would feel cold and bureaucratic, creating friction in the patient journey and being antithetical to providing care.
Solution: We positioned the support hub not as a call center but as a sanctuary. The strategy focused on psychological safety, ensuring every touchpoint reinforced the patient's emotional well-being, simplified the entire journey for patients and caretakers alike, all while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
Outcome: H.O.M.E. (Hutchmed Oncology Made Easy) > A service identity that reframed a functional touchpoint into an emotional anchor, helping to truly support the entire patient and their caretaker/s at a critical life point.
