Creative Distillation | annex
[ANNEX] is a novel cannabis device, which enables flower/tobacco smokers to confidently partake, anywhere/anytime they choose, with a full joint experience. ANNEX not only takes the smoke out of the environment down to the sub-micron level, but it removes the stigma associated with the activity itself.
The Ask:
[ANNEX] had developed quite a product, akin to what Dyson had created for vacuum cleaners. The issue was that they were far too narrow in their target.
The Solve:
With the legalization of marijuana, there were many more opportunities afforded to [ANNEX] than they realized. From realigning efforts to professionals (vs. college students) to understanding what the true applications of their device should be, we realized that their true opportunity wasn’t what they had initially thought.
The Result:
[ANNEX] found that the cannabis market in the US was fractured at best, especially for a premium product of their caliber. By pivoting to cigarettes, [ANNEX] has seen much success outside of the US, in European, Middle Eastern, and Asian markets.
